Poštovane kolegice i kolege,

 

Zadovoljstvo mi je najaviti novo 6. izdanje stručnog skupa „Dalmatia Retina Meeting“, koji će se održati od 3. do 6. rujna 2026. godine u Šibeniku.

 

Nastavljajući tradiciju dosadašnjih uspješnih susreta, ovogodišnji program osmišljen je s ciljem daljnjeg unaprjeđenja znanja i razmjene iskustava u području vitreoretinalne kirurgije i bolesti stražnjeg segmenta oka. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na praktični rad, interaktivnost i razmjenu kliničkih iskustava među sudionicima.

 

Program skupa bit će strukturiran kroz tri tematske cjeline:

 

Prvi dan predviđen je za „wet lab“ radionicu, usmjerenu na osnovne tehnike vitrektomije. Radionica će se odvijati uz vodstvo iskusnih instruktora, kroz rad na tri praktične postaje, uz ograničen broj sudionika kako bi se osigurala maksimalna kvaliteta edukacije. Prijave za sudjelovanje u „wet labu“ su dostupne putem poveznice.

Drugi dan bit će posvećen prikazu kirurških videa i diskusiji, s naglaskom na analizu operativnih tehnika, izazova u svakodnevnoj praksi te razmjenu iskustava među kolegama.

 

Treći dan obuhvatit će predavanja pozvanih domaćih i inozemnih stručnjaka, koji će predstaviti najnovija dostignuća i aktualne pristupe u dijagnostici i liječenju retinalnih bolesti.

 

Vjerujemo kako će i ovogodišnji susret u Šibeniku pružiti izvrsnu priliku za stručno usavršavanje, umrežavanje i poticanje daljnje suradnje među oftalmolozima s posebnim interesom za retinu.

Dear Colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to announce the 6th edition of the Dalmatia Retina Meeting, which will take place in Šibenik, Croatia, from September 3–6, 2026.

​

Continuing the tradition of our previous successful meetings, this year's program has been designed to further enhance knowledge and facilitate the exchange of experience in the field of vitreoretinal surgery and diseases of the posterior segment of the eye. Particular emphasis will be placed on hands-on training, interactivity, and the sharing of clinical expertise among participants.

​

The scientific program will be organized into three thematic sections:

 

Day One will be dedicated to a Wet Lab Workshop focused on the fundamental techniques of pars plana vitrectomy. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will rotate through three practical stations. Attendance will be limited to ensure optimal educational quality and individualized instruction. Registration for the Wet Lab is available via the provided link.

 

Day Two will feature a Surgical Video Session and Discussion Forum, with a focus on the analysis of operative techniques, challenges encountered in everyday clinical practice, and the exchange of practical experience among colleagues.

 

Day Three will include lectures delivered by distinguished national and international experts, presenting the latest advances and current approaches in the diagnosis and management of retinal diseases.

We are confident that this year's meeting in Šibenik will once again provide an excellent opportunity for professional development, networking, and stimulating further collaboration among ophthalmologists with a special interest in retinal diseases and vitreoretinal surgery.
